In a move to champion eco-friendly green transport nationwide, electric mobility company BasiGo Ltd has initiated a pilot program for electric public service vehicles on inter-city routes.  BasiGo Managing Director Moses Nderitu announced the company's ambitious plan to deploy over 1,000 electric public service vehicles dubbed MA3e for long-distance routes.

This will happen once the current inter-city pilot programs prove successful.

The initiative is being lauded as a pivotal step in Kenya's journey towards sustainable development.

Aimed at significantly reducing emissions and usher in clean energy solutions within the nation's public transport system.
