The family of missing human rights activist Mwabili Mwagodi has made fresh demands to the Kenyan and Tanzanian governments for answers about his disappearance.

Led by Mwabili's sister, Isabella Kituri, the family has urged the two governments to find Mwabili, who was reportedly abducted by unknown individuals while working in Tanzania.

While detailing how she had learned of her brother's disappearance, Kituri revealed that they had been informed that Mwabili had vanished without trace and that attempts to find him had been unsuccessful.

She added that her fears had deepened because her brother was a vocal critic of President William Ruto's church fundraising missions and had mobilised Gen Z movements through his social media platforms.
