Kenya Power has refuted reports it has advertised for 241 jobs across various sections of the country's principal electricity utility company.

In a post on its social media accounts on Friday, January 24, Kenya Power cautioned Kenyans against falling prey to conmen purporting to be offering jobs. "The company is pleased to invite applications from qualified and interested Kenyans for the following vacancies across the country," the fake poster read in part.

The post that has since been flagged advertised 67 intern openings, 32 posts for cleaners, 12 for guards, and nine posts for drivers.
