The Kenya Meteorological Department has urged Kenyans in several regions across the country to brace for more rains, chilly conditions, and strong winds this week.

According to the department's weekly forecast, rainfall is expected to continue in the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley and the Coast.

Furthermore, strong southerly to south-easterly winds with speeds exceeding 25 knots are expected to hit the Coast, South-eastern lowlands, North-eastern and North-western Kenya.

Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka, and Nairobi counties are expected to experience sunny intervals in the morning throughout the week, and showers during the afternoons, except Tuesday afternoon when it is expected to remain sunny.
