The Director of Public Prosecutions has freshly charged the five suspects accused of murdering Kasipul MP Charles Ong'ondo Were.
This is after the DPP decided to consolidate two separate cases previously filed at the Kibera and Milimani Law Courts.
This means that, going forward, the cases will be tried as a single case and will be heard in one court.
Previously, three people had been charged at the Kibera Law Courts and the other two at the Milimani Law Courts, where they all pleaded not guilty.
