Nairobi Traffic Commander Joseph Chirchir has announced the closure of various sections of Aerodrome, Lang'ata, and Mombasa Roads ahead of the next round of African Nations Championship (CHAN) fixtures slated for Sunday, August 10. Through an official notice released on Saturday, August 9, Chirchir revealed that Aerodome Road would be closed from the Madaraka roundabout to the Bunyala roundabout. Lang'ata Road would be closed from the Madaraka roundabout to Lusaka roundabout, albeit on one side.
Consequently, motorists using this road heading to Nairobi's Central Business District (CBD) were diverted to Raila Odinga Road or Muhoho Road at the Mbagathi roundabout.
