The leadership of several boards in different Ministries has changed after Cabinet Secretaries made appointments and re-appointments.
In a Gazette Notice dated August 8, Transport CS Davis Chirchir re-appointed Alvin Abwe to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Railways Corporation for the next three years.
Habwe was reappointed effectively immediately after his previous tenure, which ran from February 23, 2024, up to July 12, 2025, came to an end.
He had been appointed by President William Ruto.
