The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has revealed plans to expand its APIs to the Electronic Tax Invoice Management System (eTIMS) and enhanced VAT compliance tools, which will further streamline tax compliance processes.

The revelation was made on Wednesday, August 13, during the second API masterclass edition, which is part of the Authority's push to digitise revenue collection services.

The masterclass brought together the tech developer community for the co-creation of simplified service solutions as part of KRA's larger digital transformation agenda.

Through the GavaConnect Enterprise API platform, KRA has created a secure and structured way for developers and tech ecosystems to access KRA tax data programmatically.
