Nairobi motorists have been advised to expect temporary road closures and traffic diversions this Sunday, August 17, 2025, as the city hosts the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024) at Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani.
In a statement, Traffic Commandant Joseph Chirchir said that Aerodrome Road will be closed from Madaraka Roundabout to Bunyala Roundabout.
In addition, one lane of Lang'ata Road between Madaraka Roundabout and Lusaka Roundabout will be closed, while one lane of Mombasa Road between Lusaka and Bunyala Roundabouts will also be affected.
The authority, however other alternative routes to ease movement during the game period.
