Two people have been confirmed dead and one injured after a lorry was involved in a tragic accident along the Bomet-Kaplong Highway.
In a statement on its official X account on Sunday, August 17, the Motorists Association of Kenya said that the lorry plunged into the Nzoia River on Sunday morning. "Soymet Bridge, Bomet, 2 dead, 1 rushed to the hospital after a lorry plunged into the river this Sunday morning," MAK stated.
According to reports, the survivor has been rushed to the Kaplong Hospital for medical attention.
