Former Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju has formally resigned from the Jubilee Party, led by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In a resignation letter addressed to the former president, dated Tuesday, August 19, Tuju, who claimed that given the rapidly evolving political ecosystem both in the country and the Jubilee party, he sees no more value he can add to the party.   Acknowledging the political Journey he has traversed over the years, especially with the former President, Tuju has affirmed that despite his resignation, he will remain loyal to him and is willing to collaborate with him in future political ventures.   "This letter is to thank you and pay tribute to our political association that dates back to the time when I worked with you under President Kibaki to create the PNU outfit," Tuju said.
