A man was apprehended by an angry crowd allegedly on Tuesday August 19, 2025 night after being accused of impersonating a police officer and assaulting a young boy. The incident, which was captured on video, unfolded after citizens reportedly saw the man, dressed in what appeared to be a police uniform, assaulting the boy.
In a video obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, the crowd surrounded the man and demanded that he take the boy to the hospital. In the clip, the man is heard defending himself, claiming he worked at Kamukunji Police Station, a detail the crowd appeared to dismiss as they continued to question him.
