The Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) Deputy Leader, Cleophas Malala, has alleged a well-orchestrated plan by the government to deploy goons in the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) on Thursday, August 21.
According to Malala, the scheme to deploy goons was agreed upon during a supposed night meeting between Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja and Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen.
Addressing the press on Wednesday afternoon, Malala claimed the goons would be dispatched to disrupt the peaceful procession by DCP supporters receiving their party leader, Rigathi Gachagua, upon his arrival from the United States.
The former Kakamega Senator further revealed the government's intention to execute the plan through a section of politicians, including two Members of Parliament.
