The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a temporary road closure along the Bomas-Kiserian (B19) Road for a period of two months. According to a public notice by Luka Kimeli, the acting KeNHA Director-General stated that the closure will take effect from Thursday, August 28, 2025, and remain in place until Monday, October 20, 2025. "KeNHA wishes to inform the public of a temporary traffic disruption due to the closure of Bomas - Kiserian (B19) Road between Brookhouse/ Galleria to Catholic University of Eastern Africa junction from Thursday, August 28, 2025, to Monday, October 20, 2025," the notice reads.
KeNHA explained that the disruption is necessary to facilitate the construction of two box culverts.

Twitter KeNHA The affected section runs from the Brookhouse/Galleria area (Km 0+500) to the section just past the Catholic University of Eastern Africa junction (Km 1+000). The Authority stated that this portion of the B19 road will be inaccessible to motorists during the specified period.
