Road construction machinery owned by the County Government of Nandi will be mounted with surveillance devices to ensure the intended purpose of the machines is achieved.

The new Chief Executive Committee Member for Roads and Infrastructure Engineer Robert Limo revealed that they were equipping the road construction and maintenance machinery with technology that can monitor every movement and activity as a strategy for timely service delivery and responsible use.

Engineer Limo said they will be collecting as much data as possible to make sure that the machines working for Nandi roads are in the right shape and place all the time.

He said extra supervision will be rolled out, including the use of the residents to report issues arising from the use of government equipment.
