A 14-month-old infant who had allegedly been kidnapped by a relative was finally rescued by the police on Tuesday after a five-day search.

Through a statement, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) disclosed that its officers retrieved the baby who disappeared under mysterious circumstances causing distraught and grief to her parents.  "Intelligence Police Officers domiciled at Kutus Police Station have successfully rescued a 14-month-old baby who was reported missing on January 23, 2025," DCI stated.

The sleuths revealed that the baby was rescued in the company of her cousin who they nabbed from her hideout after an intense investigation.
