The Kenya Meteorological Department has warned of moderate to heavy rainfall in different parts of the country for the next five days between January 29 and February 2.
Kenya Met Director General David Gikungu on Wednesday announced that rains were expected to continue over the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, and the South-eastern lowlands.
According to Gikungu, the five regions would experience occasional rains during the first half of the forecast period.
However, regions of the Southwestern and South Rift Valley were likely to experience rainfall throughout the forecast period.
