A Marsabit court has ordered for the detention in police custody for 14 days of a man suspected of murdering his wife over alleged adultery.
Halakhe Dida Duracha, 32, who was pursued and arrested by detectives after stabbing his 27-year-old wife and a mother of 4 to death was not required to plead to any charge when he was presented before Principal Magistrate Simon Arome.
The Prosecution made an application to have the suspect held at the Marsabit Police Station for 14 days which was granted by the court to enable the police to complete investigations into the matter.
The accused who was arrested on Tuesday was alleged to have committed the offence on the night of February 27, 2025 at Badassa village in Marsabit Central Sub-county.
