Parents and guardians have 27 days to ensure their school-going children are registered with the Social Health Authority (SHA), the government has announced.

The Ministry has called on schools to immediately inform parents about the registration process and provide any necessary assistance to facilitate compliance before the deadline.

According to a circular issued by Basic Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang, the government will continue with the process despite the disruption the exercise is likely to cause.

The Ministry of Education has urged parents and guardians to ensure their school-going children are registered before February 28, 2025.
