Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale on Saturday, February 2, pleaded with President William Ruto not to fire Public Service Cabinet Secretary (CS) Justin Muturi.
In an impassioned speech, Khalwale urged the President not to heed calls by individuals politicising the abduction of Muturi's son instead of taking it as a personal matter of a father worried about his son.
Khalwale addressed the President directly, imploring him to put himself in the shoes of Muturi whose son was among Kenyans abducted at the heart of Gen Z protests in July. "I would like to tell you that there are people who want to incite you about Justin Muturi.
His son was abducted.
