Iteso Cultural Union (ICU) leader Papa Paul Sande Emolot will visit the Iteso community in Teso Kenya and those residing in other sub counties in March this year.

Addressing mourners during the burial of Moses Oduya in Katakwa, Teso North Sub County, ICU Deputy Prime Minister Fredrick Adungo urged Ateker community to accord their cultural leader a befitting welcome.

Adungo said the visit to Matayos, Nambale, Bungoma, Trans Nzoia, Teso North, Teso South, and Teso Central Sub will culminate into a professional conference at the end of his tour.

He said said ICU has also launched a membership recruitment drive through registration with a view to establishing the total number of clans in Kenya, adding that they will be issued with ICU certificates through the office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
