The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has made headway in the murder case of vocal Nakuru activist Richard Otieno alias Molo President by arresting five suspects.

In a statement on Monday, DCI revealed that three of the five suspects were the actual perpetrators of the crime while two of them were bodaboda riders who ferried them to and from the crime scene.

In the course of the homicide investigations, the detectives determined that two of the suspects arrested had previously been arrested for assaulting him.

According to the report, the two physically assaulted Otieno on November 18, 2024, and were arrested and further sentenced to one-year probation.
