The National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) in Mandera East has launched a Sh50 million bursary fund to support the most needy students in the constituency.
Speaking at Mandera Technical Training Institute during the launch, Mandera East Member of Parliament emphasized that the initiative aims to improve access to education by funding students in secondary schools, colleges, and universities.
The MP reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that no student stays at home due to a lack of school fees. "Education remains one of my top priorities, and I am determined to ensure that all students receive the necessary support to achieve their academic dreams," the MP stated.
To ensure fairness and transparency, the legislator announced that he would collaborate with community elders to make sure all eligible students benefit from the bursary.
