A 38-year-old man in Homa Bay has been arrested by police after allegedly killing his daughter.
The man identified as Grachines Lovely Odingo is said to have killed his seven-year-old daughter after he forced her to drink petrol.
Police reports indicate Odingo committed the heinous crime on Monday evening at his house in Minyere village, South Kanyikela Sub-location in Ndhiwa Sub County. The body of the minor, a grade two pupil at Minyere Primary School, was found decomposing in their house on Tuesday morning with an empty bottle of petrol next to it.
It is not yet established whether the petrol substance contained poison.
