With two years until the general elections, the Office Registrar of Political Parties has confirmed that three new political parties have applied to be added to the list of parties in Kenya.
In a gazette notice published on Friday, January 3, Registrar Anne Nderitu announced that the three parties submitted provisional requests to get the go-ahead to use the party names, symbols, and colours.
The three parties are the Forum for Economic Development Agenda (FEDA), the Kenya United Generation Party (KUG), and the Future Party (TFP).
FEDA has applied to be allowed to use Yale blue, gold, and Red colours as their party colours, while KUG has applied for green, brown, and blue colours.
