Police officers in Mombasa are investigating an incident where a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer was reported stabbed to death outside a hospital on Friday.
According to witnesses, the military officer had gone to visit a female patient at a private hospital in Likoni, Mombasa County, and was in the company of a group of friends.
Moments after visiting the patient, an argument erupted among them, forcing security guards attached to the hospital to send them out of the facility.
However, the quarrel, which began as a light argument, quickly escalated into a physical confrontation and it was during the scuffle that the soldier was stabbed.
