Scores of Kenyans across the country are set to lose several parcels of land as the government seeks to expand various road projects.
In Nairobi, the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) is targeting to upgrade the depleted Syokimau-Katani Road.
KURA seeks to upgrade the road, which is a major connector to the Mombasa Road, to bitumen standards, a move that will ease its traffic.
Residents around the Syokimau-Katani Road are set to loose three parcels of land, adding up to 0.0921 hectares of land for the upgrading of the road.
