A female student from a training institute in Thika tragically lost her life on Saturday night after she threw herself from the third floor of an apartment she was living in.
According to reports, the student was reported to have jumped from the third floor of the building following an altercation she had with her boyfriend.
At the time of the incident, the two were living as a couple in the rented apartment located at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) gate C area of Juja town. Neighbours who heard a commotion from the altercation rushed to the scene only to find the student already lying on the ground with serious injuries.
An image of a scene marked out for investigations by the police Photo Hindustan Times Reports from some of the neighbours indicated that the student got angry following a message that her boyfriend had been allegedly sent by another lady.
