Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has told National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula to adhere to the court ruling that restored Azimio la Umoja as the majority party.
He said Azimio MPs should on Tuesday be allowed to occupy the majority side of the assembly as ordered by the court on Friday.
The High Court ruled that Wetangula's declaration on October 6, 2022, that President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza Alliance (UDA) was the majority party, was unconstitutional. "On Tuesday our Azimio MPs should occupy the majority side in the assembly because the High Court has proclaimed itself on the matter," said Kalonzo in Kilifi County.
The former vice president who started his coastal tour Sunday opened Wiper Party offices at the Kwa Ndomo area in Magarini, Kilifi County.
