Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has stated that all meetings held at his home in Wamunyoro in Nyeri county are not just for the benefit of the Mount Kenya region but for the entire country.  Speaking during a joint media interview, Gachagua said that the meetings were aimed at consulting various stakeholders from different parts of the country to understand the challenges facing Kenya's leadership and the difficulties citizens are experiencing.

Since his impeachment, Gachagua has been holding discussions with various groups, including businesspeople, religious leaders, retired civil servants, elected officials, youth, and Gen Z representatives.

The former dp revealed that even government officials have been engaging with him, seeking his views on political and economic matters.   "I have been engaging in extensive conversations with various people to seek political advice and gain a deeper understanding of the current state of the country.

These discussions have included leaders from different sectors, businesspeople, religious figures, and ordinary citizens who share their perspectives on governance and national challenges.I want to clarify that I have not been asking them for anything in return.
