Senior Economic Advisor Moses Kuria has criticised former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua over alleged plans to lead protests should Chief Justice Martha Koome be dismissed from office.

On Monday evening, the former Public Service Cabinet Secretary accused Gachagua of attempting to run a selfish political agenda by allegedly allowing Mt Kenya residents to protest while other regions pursued development.

According to Kuria, he had no problem with anyone advancing their legitimate political goals but calling for demonstrations for Mt Kenya youths to get killed on the streets was unreasonable. "I have no problem with anyone advancing their legitimate political goals.

But telling young men from my region to come to the streets and get shot dead while other regions are pursuing an agenda is very selfish," Moses Kuria commented on his X account.
