A team from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) will be camping in Nandi County for the next one week with a mission of sensitizing and training the National and County Government heads of departments, Technical and Vocational Education Training institutions plus the locals on matters of corruption.

EACCs North Rift Regional Manager Charles Rusugu said that they will emphasize on the Ethics and Leadership Act according to Chapter Six of the Constitution while interacting with government officials and Nandi residents.

He said the commission's outreach campaign is intended to bring awareness to every Kenyan on the effects of corruption and how it can be stopped. "Before waiting for corruption to happen, it is important that we dialogue so that we can prevent it from happening," he said.

Rusugu said they will be interacting with the locals in six Sub-Counties making Nandi County including having classroom sessions in ten Nandi TVET institutions.
