Nairobi County Chief Executive Committee Member for Environment Geoffrey Mosiria revealed that he will back Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja for the 2027 General Election. In an exclusive interview with Kenyans.co.ke, Mosiria disclosed that he will support Sakaja's re-election bid adding that he does not intend to vie for any office. "In 2027, Mosiria will be behind Governor Sakaja supporting him to get a second term so that I continue doing my work," Mosiria stated. "I am not vying for any office.
I am a civil servant and I am still a county employee.
Before I came to this position (CECM Environment), I was still a county employee.
Once I leave this position, I will go back to my previous position, (CECM Health) still as a county employee," he added.
