Kenya Power has confirmed delays in the generation of tokens purchased through paybill numbers, after numerous complaints online.  According to the country's utility company, the delay which has affected many was due to a technical issue. "We are currently experiencing a delay in the generation of tokens purchased through our Paybill 888880.

Our team is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible," Kenya Power said in a statement released on Friday night.

In the statement, the utility company went on to affirm that its technicians were working to resolve the issue.
