Council of Governors (CoG) in partnership with the Kwale County Government undertook a series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in Kinango Sub County.

The CoG held a free medical camp for over 500 residents in Kinango School for the deaf, distributed water tanks to several schools to address the challenges of water scarcity, shoes, bags, wheelchairs and stationeries to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

CoG Secretariat Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mary Mwiti said the free medical camp was held to enhance healthcare access for vulnerable groups in Kwale.

Ms Mwiti said the services offered included general health check-ups, specialist consultations, cervical cancer screenings, eye and dental care, basic medications, physiotherapy, Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a common sexually transmitted infection, health awareness sessions and Social Health Authority (SHA) registration.
