Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detained two female suspects who were arrested following the murder of a four-year-old boy after he soiled himself.   The prime suspect in the murder is a woman believed to be the mother of the boy who the detectives revealed took the child's corpse to Mama Lucy Hospital Mortuary following the incident.

Adding to the mystery of the incident, the DCI revealed that after taking her son's lifeless body to the hospital, the woman never returned to claim it for burial. ''The suspect (mother), while in the company of her friend, is reported to have taken the lifeless body of the child to Mama Lucy Hospital mortuary on December 9, 2024, but failed to return after reporting the incident to the police as guided by the morgue officials,'' DCI shared in a statement.  DCI Headquarters, Kiambu Road, Nairobi.
