Three people have reportedly been arrested by anti-riot police officers while demonstrating outside Mombasa Technical University (TUK).
Confirming the reports on Monday, human rights activist Hussein Khalid revealed that the trio was arrested and detained for allegedly demonstrating against the forced disappearances witnessed in the country recently.
In the videos shared by Khalid, the police were captured confronting a group of demonstrators who hoisted placards before cornering them and detaining them inside one of the police vehicles.
During the altercation, one of the protesters was heard questioning the police demanding to know the reason for his arrest.
