The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) on Friday cautioned motorists of traffic disruption at yet another busy Nairobi road until the new year.

In a notice from Director General Engineer Kungu Ndungu, KeNHA announced that traffic would be temporarily disrupted along Kipande Road, which would be closed on a single bound at a time on the diversion to Ngara Road.

According to the Authority, the partial closure, which takes effect from December 27 to December 31, 2024, is meant to enable the construction of a cross culvert at Kipande Road 'to facilitate a seamless connection in line with the Authority's mandate'.

Motorists who typically use Kipande Road were, therefore, urged to use alternative routes.
