Kenya Railways Corporation has warned members of the public to be wary of fraudulent job advertisements circulating on various online platforms, some of which are requesting payment for applications and interviews.

In a statement issued by Kenya Railways Managing Director Philip Mainga on Wednesday, the service cautioned Kenyans of fake job adverts, urging them to use official communications channels to get such information.  ''Kenya Railways wishes to notify the public of fraudulent job advertisements currently circulating on various online platforms, some of which are requesting payment for applications or interviews,'' read part of a statement by Kenya Railways.

Consequently, the railway operator urged the public to verify job opportunities through its official website, the weekly government publication newspaper, and its official social media platforms.
