Juja MP George Koimburi has pleaded not guilty to six charges of forgering his academic documents.
The lawmaker was arraigned at the Kiambu Law Courts Wednesday, a day after he was arrested outside his home.
Koimburi has been charged with forging academic certificates; that is KCSE, a Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) Academic Excellence certificate from the Department of School of Human Resource Development among other counts.
He was arrested on Tuesday following remarks he made at the weekend at a church service regarding the funding of Raila Odinga's campaign for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship.
