A teacher in Ngenyilel East, Uasin Gishu County, has left many impressed after carrying a Grade 4 learner who collapsed during an inter-school athletics competition for four kilometres.
What was supposed to be a regular competition took a dramatic turn when a 10-year-old boy from Ngenyilel Primary School fainted after competing in the 5,000-metre race.
Moments after completing the competition at a neighbouring school, the pupils, together with their teacher, began heading home.
It was during the journey that the pupil collapsed.
