The Investment, Trade, and Industry Cabinet Secretary Lee Kinyanjui has appointed Chrisantus Wamalwa as the new Non-Executive Chairperson of the National Standards Council (NSC).

In a gazette Notice dated February 21, the CS said that Wamalwa will hold the office for three years, with effect from Friday. "Wakhungu Chrisantus Wamalwa (Dr) to be the Non-Executive Chairperson of the National Standards Council for three(3) years, with effect from the 21st February 2025," the notice stated.

NSC is the policy-making body that oversees the administration and financial management of the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS).
