President William Ruto's government officials on Saturday, February 22, attacked the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Nyeri, Bishop Anthony Muheria, after calling out Ruto for focusing on publicity rather than implementing the projects.
Energy Cabinet Secretary, Opiyo Wandayi, in a speech, asked Muheria to stick to his lane and to leave the government to carry on with publicity.
Wandayi stated that the government must talk about the development plans and its objectives. "We have a duty to communicate our development plans, and that is what we are planning to do.
We also have to communicate what we are doing and what we have done.
