Cabinet Secretary for Mining and Blue Economy, Ali Hassan Joho, has appointed 10 members to the Community Development Agreement Committee between Kipkorgot Community and Carbacid (CO2) Limited in Uasin Gishu County.
Further, he also appointed nine members to the Community Development Agreement Committee between Bathi Community and Carbacid (CO2) Limited in Kiambu County.
In a gazette notice dated February 21, the CSs stated that members appointed to the Committee shall serve for a term of three years, with effect. "It is notified for the general information of the public that pursuant to Regulation 7 (1) of the Mining (Community Development Agreement) Regulations, 2017, the following are the members of the Community Development Agreement Committee between Kipkorgot Community in Uasin Gishu County and Carbacid (CO2) Limited," part of the notice reads.
