Renowned television host Ken Mijungu has parted ways with Cape Media's TV47, less than a month after his highly publicised arrival at the Muthaiga Road-based station.
According to a letter obtained by Kenyans.co.ke and signed by Cape Media CEO Lilian Makandi dated February 22, Mijungu's departure followed the management's approval of his request for an early contract termination, submitted just days after joining TV47.
Mijungu had formally written to the management on Friday, February 21, seeking time off to reflect on his engagement with the company. ''We acknowledge receipt of your email dated February 21, 2025, in which you requested time off to reflect on your engagement with the company,'' the letter read in part.
