Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have launched investigations into an incident in which a police officer fatally shot his colleague in Nairobi.
The incident, which took place in the wee hours of Sunday, February 23, saw one officer open fire at his colleague, killing him instantly, in Ruaraka.
According to a police report obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, the two officers were leaving an entertainment joint when an altercation ensued.
The deceased officer, who is attached to the General Service Unit, was in the company of his brother when an argument with his colleague ensued.
