A BBC employee was violently killed by a hotel intruder according to a new coroner report released in the United Kingdom on Tuesday, February 25. This comes as the British family claims reluctance to close investigations with the Kenyan police.
A Newcastle Coroner's Court was told that the deceased, Kate Mitchell, 42, was murdered by a man who subsequently jumped or fell to his death from eight floors three years ago.
According to a postmortem conducted after the repatriation of Mitchell's body to the UK, she died from a head injury and pressure on the neck.
