The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Renson Igonga, has been awarded the best public service CEO at the Digital Transformation Public Sector Awards 2025 in Mombasa.

The DPP was handed a plaque and certificate of recognition by the Information, Communication, and Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo, who graced the ceremony on Friday, February 28. "We are excited by the digital transformation, and I assure you the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions will be at the forefront of embracing the digital era," Igonga said. "William Kabogo, the Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Communication, and the Digital Economy, handed the DPP the award, consisting of a plaque and certificate of recognition, the ODPP stated.

"The forum, which aims to advance digital solutions within government operations, attracted experts and leaders dedicated to driving innovation and efficiency," ODPP stated The DPP was recognized following the successful rollout of the Uadilifu Case Management System at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).

The Uadilifu Case Management System is a digital solution that has been fundamental in streamlining how the ODPP handles case files.
