The Trans Nzoia County Commissioner Gideon Oyagi has urged public servants to work in sync with other stakeholders to facilitate a seamless implementation of government programmes.

He told heads of departments in the county during a team-building exercise on the slopes of Mt.

Elgon to develop a closely working relationship among government staff, noting such cooperation was an essential ingredient towards improved service delivery.  Emphasizing the need for the heads of departments to embrace a multi-agency approach in the implementation of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), Oyagi said meaningful results will only be achieved if government employees were ready to work as a unit.  "There is need to develop partnerships and close networks amongst ourselves if we have to deliver on the government's Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.

There's no way you can deliver if you decide to go alone," he said.
