Narok Governor Patrick Ntutu has directed the County Public Service Board to employ more young people in various departments to facilitate the infusion of new ideas and innovations in the county administration.

The call comes in on the backdrop of plans by the county government targeting to recruit over 700 employees for the positions of ward administrators, health personnel and Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) teachers. "The young people should also be given a chance to serve.

We have many young people who have attained degrees but do not have a job.

We want to give them a chance and see the new things they will introduce in the service," he said.
